Craig Ward

Craig Ward
His design in way distorts the typography, however it is still easy to read. It was created by tracing parts of Didot typeface with a fountain pen and dripping water onto it.

This piece by Craig Ward shows how bad typography is more obvious to the viewer, and that to be good typography you shouldn't have to think about it. The use of white type and white background makes the red type stand out more, which exaggerates how bad the red type is,  which is what the artist wants. The use of very light shadow around the white type makes it readable.
